certainly do not look dry and a biting east-south east flow

for 1pm

more of an easterly flow and very cold

cold uppers

and still showing precipitation

for 7pm

biting east to south east and strong flow

bitterly cold again

still showing precipitation but quite light now

reckon an ice day is showing here and watch that wind

going to have a real chill to it

Might be my very first march ice day, and lets hope that ppn happens.

I was going to drive down down to Whitstable later and have a walk by the sea but it doesn't seem like a good idea now with that easterly wind and freezing temps. I'll still go though.

Well kentspur at 5:45am we have got a covering of snow in Dartford, well its only a mm thick if I exaggerate but its a covering anyway. A few flakes are slowly fluttering down as well.

Very small flakes falling from the sky here, covering increased by around 50% since my last measurement so lets say 1.5mm deep, no drifting yet, but with such depth building so quickly I expect to report a 2mm snow drift by around 10am.

PPN now breaking it's back like a poll volter and heading for Anglia region, looks as though north of london will get another top up. Light snow showers are scattering across london region. I have a very light dusting in Dagenham East. Wasn't expecting that. BBC got there forecast wrong for today then! Suppose to be drier and quiet.......lol pffftt!

Not being a great radar reader so I might be totally wrong but is the main snow blob slowly edging towards us in the south east, to my untrained eyes its appear to be moving south west, probably talking rubbish as usual.
