Hi Tom

You've got me 0.7cms, it should be 7cms, i know its just a friendly but after getting trounced last time i was feeling pretty good for a win this time lol good.gif

Oh well, the brown envelope from Brommers takes a mere 15 mins by courier you see, and its deep mafioso country!

And I wouldnt complain too much, otherwise I might 'ave to take yer for a scrape round to the Dinsdale Bruvvers,

where they might nail yer 'ead to a coffee table and rip yer spleen out. They're hard men but very fair.

If your not a Monty Python fan, dont worry my therapy continues on Tues. morning.

Yours threateningly,

Tomasino. hi.gif

Would like to post up the half/time scores in the Snow Depth Cup & Friendlies. If I've left any depths out, please post or PM me your amounts.

Now when a team reaches the latter stages of a Cup competition human nature suggests that a cautionary approach maybe the likely scenario. What's going on here though? Too scared to commit a few snowflakes into your opponents half!

I've seen more action on an April sunday afternoon in Serie A and then some! Throw caution to the wind, or a few snowflakes anyway!

Meanwhile, look at all the action in the Friendlies, I know there's nothing at stake in those matches but come on, lets see some effort in the 2nd half!

Depths in cms.

4th Rnd

0 Leigh-on-Sea (E) (PAUL SHERMAN) v.Little Wakering (E) (ESSEXGOONER) 0

0 Addington (Sur) (SNOWBOB) v.Uckfield (Sus) (TOM JARVIS) 0

0 N.W.Kent ? (KENTSPUR) v.Swanley (K) (SNOWBLUES) 0

0 N.W.Kent (LAUREN) v.Bexleyheath (K) (SNOW RAVEN) 0

0 Folkestone (LOTTIEKENT) v. Rochester (K) (STEVIERAY1) 0

3rd Rnd REPLAYS

6 Barnet (H) (SUBURBAN STREAMER) v. Wimbledon (L) (LONDON SNOW) 0

DUST.Ongar (E) (JO S) v. Bushey (H) (SVALIJI) 0

0 S.W.London (FLUID DYNAMIC) v. Northwood (L) (BLUEBREEZER54) 0

FRIENDLIES

0 (H) (HAMMER) v. Kempston (Beds) (CHRIS MANTLE) 3

5 Headington (Ox) (MARK NEAL) v. High Wycombe (Bucks) (KATIE COURT) 6.4

Evening Tom. A late report from me but I measured 3.5cms's of level snow on a flat surface here earlier this morning. All gone now. good.gif

It feels weird, during the winter I was loving any prospect of snow and filled my boots during the late January dumping we got in the SE; but now I'm heartily fed up of any forecast that includes snow.

I just want warm, sunny Spring days to enjoy and with the baby due to arrive in about three weeks I could do with conditions improving.

Just out of interest how long would coldies like this to continue, or would you be happy with 12 months of the white stuff? :)

Looks like we've had another fall of snow and its laid a bit. I didn't see it though as I'm all snug listening to the fabulous Dead Can Dance while writing about churches, thunder storms and mysterious men in grave yards. :o

It has been a desperately unlucky those south of the thames this winter or even south of london as a whole as members south of that had a good event a while back.

In a way i am glad for others but wish this cold spell shoots off swiftly as without much laying snow it is not exiting at all.
