East of Lancaster up the M6 over Shap looks exciting right now.

It looks like it is back-filling with these storms now joining the main band.

Rain has stopped now. Wow, what an amazing event that was!

Unless the radar explodes into action now, it looks like NW England could get the lowest amount of rainfall from this by far out of England!

I doubt it, since parts of Cornwall have missed it. The models shows the rain getting heavier as the night goes on. So too early to judge. Edited by Weather-history

It barely rained in Plymouth all day bar a light shower at 3pm

Now blue sky outside- lovely evening!

What's your location Harry?

Down on the coast in Dymchurch :) lightning we are having is very elevated and vibrant purple - the loud ground shaking thunder we had earlier is no more. It's too wet though to go out in sadly.EDIT - Scracth that - two very close and powerful CGs as I finished typing lol....ground shaking thunder is back lol.Breeze and low cloud beginning to whip in from the ESE...this thing seems to be trying to organise :D Edited by Harry

deep low rumble of thunder here out of nowhere, radar looks dead for my location

Good to see, stuff from Herts is travelling directly N at the moment, so Peterborough should see something soon !
