It should be quite nice in the sun tomorow , the sun is very strong so might be a time to start the tan

Looks like a lovely day on the cards so probably one spent doing the jobs in the garden that I've been putting off for months.

Then off to the pub to watch the football and hopefully a promotion party.

A bit more cloud about today and because of that I would immagine the temperatures, certainly the feel of the day will be a bit suppressed.

Still dry though so it looks like today's the day for the first grass cuts of the season.

A promising start has degenerated into a rather unpleasant feel, we are experiencing a surprise shower - not forecast, the wind is certainly gusty and with grey overcast sky, it doesn't feel springlike at all, compared to yesterday and Friday which saw glorious blue skies and sunshine and importantly hardly any wind.

What a difference a bit of wind and cloud makes at this time of year.

Hoping this is a light rogue shortlived shower and the sun manages to break through this afternoon. Tomorrow looks good here, with lighter winds and more in the way of sunshine and cloud breaks, making for a warmer feel overall.

A word on Friday - how wonderful the Lake District looked, everything turning fresh green, lambs in the fields and mountain edges etched clear against the blue sky. Is there anywhere better than a glorious spring day in the Lake District.. I don't think so (though I am biased..).

Quite pleasant out in the sun (while it lasted) this afternoon here in the Peaks, reached a high of 18'c with things now tailing off as cloud rolls in off the N.Sea.Beeb going for thundery showers tomorrow afternoon so perhaps a replay of today weather-wise?
