The satellite imagery is getting interesting. Definite darkening appearing.

Yes very strange light here now, it really is amazing isnt it. Love it!  About 10 mins to max coverage

Proper overcast here, but it has gone dim.

Light levels dropped now as we get closer to the peak a lot of cloud though which is expected to break around mid morning...... after the eclipse

The cloud has thickened up in the last 15 minutes, but I did catch this (low res).

Grandson thinks it's magic ,occationaly glimpse through cloud ,don't need glasses !!!.

Dropped to 6.6c from 7.1c here, Gone very dark.. A great show even given the cloud.

The temperature here has only dropped 0.1c in the past 30 minutes

So grateful to the mist lifting into low cloud (with Altocumulus above it) to allow amazing viewing of the eclipse. The temperature has dropped from 7.1c to 6.4c in the last 10 minutes which is the exact opposite to what you would expect at this time on a morning of clearing sky. With the still extensive low cloud there is an eerie light effect when looking into the distance.

Very strange light, shadows when we all went out which disappeared. Went almost freezing and could see my breathe. Wished had gone a bit darker, but saw some Bats and the birds thought it was bed time.
