twilight conditions here now....thin high cloud cover allowing excellent viewing!

Yes very strange light here now, it really is amazing isnt it. Love it!  About 10 mins to max coverage :D

Still wouldn't look at it through high cloud though, it could well be just as dangerous.

Light levels dropped now as we get closer to the peak a lot of cloud though which is expected to break around mid morning...... after the eclipse

Dropped to 6.6c from 7.1c here, Gone very dark.. A great show even given the cloud.

So grateful to the mist lifting into low cloud (with Altocumulus above it) to allow amazing viewing of the eclipse. The temperature has dropped from 7.1c to 6.4c in the last 10 minutes which is the exact opposite to what you would expect at this time on a morning of clearing sky. With the still extensive low cloud there is an eerie light effect when looking into the distance.

Very strange light, shadows when we all went out which disappeared. Went almost freezing and could see my breathe. Wished had gone a bit darker, but saw some Bats and the birds thought it was bed time.
