Really started to cloud over in central London - although from the little square of sky I can see, there are quite a few of those cauliflower type ones (that's as technical as I get) that are usually associated with brewing storms (usually we brew them for those oop North!)

Still really humid though!

Edit - also forgot to say, great pics yesterday from Jax and Reefseeker :good:

Afternoon all

What a fantstic and warm day it has been, sunshine and a light breeze to lift the humid feeling a bit, shame I had to return to work today and cold only observe it out of the window until now.  24.6oC in the shed at present.

Hope you all get to enjoy some of this fantstic weather before it goes in time for the BH weekend.

Sweltering outside, the plume of hot continental air has hit our shores :D

Have a nice day all - Remember to drink plenty of water, hydration is a necessity.

Interesting mix of skies driving home from Uxbridge to Surbiton along the M25 and up the A3. Uxbridge was full of cauliflower skies, but heading down the M25 this changed to high whispy cloud. Reaching the A3/M25 junction there was a clear divide - A3 south continued high and whispy while heading north up the A3 the cauliflower clouds became much more in evidence. Car temp showed 27 degrees; way too high of course but feels VERY hot out there.

Looks like a very small shower has appeared out in the channel between us and France, looks to be coming in this general direction. Fingers crossed it intensifies much further :)

Beautiful day today with temperatures widely hitting the 24-25C mark. Just a little fair weather cloud and some cirrus, but nothing particularly threatening.

Sky full of Alto Cu here in Reading, has been full of a mixture of towering Cu and Alto Cu most the afternoon but the strong breeze has dropped slightly in the last hour, still got my fingers crossed for later :D
