it looks promising but I'm pushing 6 c at present ,sky's looking good though ..Irish sea streamer forming ...

 

I can see it looking west from here, theres some decent looking showers out there in the bay at the moment, will be quite a good covering on the tops in the morning if this keeps up.

staying pretty much the same I'm afraid but lot of shower activity to come this evening ...

Some beefy graupel showers pushing through, leaving a covering, temp at 1.1C.

Feeling quite raw out in the strong wind.

Clear here in st Helens not a spec of dust all day. Oh well to the storm on Wednesday into Thursday.

...as expected showers penetrating well inland to the north - even places in North East now receiving heavy snow....I'd be surprised to see one fluttering falling flake here but signs are more promising for the weekend... fingers crossed.

I finally seen some snow! at sellafield about 5 miles south of Egremont, but apparently Egremont had 10 minutes of light snow too, honestly didn't think i'd see any ppn at all.
