So not for the west West Midlands, but maybe for the east West Midlands, shading over from the west East Midlands, though the east East Midlands does best? :D

Best forecast all week!

Well well just popped outside to put some stuff in the bin and it's is snowing, according to some we had no chance of snow for the rest of the week after Saturday. Just goes to show things can pop up and that we shouldn't take the models or the bbc forecast,s as a given.

it stopped about an hour ago in Nottingham, just a very light snow shower and barely a dusting. That's the extent of it...

This winter is reminding me of someone I used to know. Fantastic personality but not much to look at.

Heavy snow here now. Not sure how, radar says the heavy stuff has been and gone. Either way I'm loving it. Heavy and dry snow sticking readily to freezing surfaces :D

Snowing here now too and settling.

Radar shows quite a large clump of showers over E.Midlands moving west-it looks mainly light at the moment but still a nice surprise.

Dewpoints well below zero along 0c air temperature any that falls should lie readily.

Worth watching the radar over Birmingham and west as it looks like heading your way at the moment.

looks like we have another occasion where shower activity has pepped up a little more that first though. And apparently heard fergie (IF) has said westwards progression that shown on currently modelling...

sorry bad typing, * more westwards progression that initially modelled
