Last hour - rain in Horley (Gatwick), light wet snow Redhill, heavier wet snow Merstham and Coulsdon, moderate wet snow South Croydon, now very light and very wet snow/sleet West Croydon/Wallington. All rather uninspiring.

Snow to rain 'event' here in lowland Croydon. Any snow this morning will depend on additional feet of elevation. This afternoon looks, currently, unremarkable for this neck of the woods, if colder.

It would be a first. It looks E & S of Gravesend is experiencing dew points in the positive territory. I'd expect these to fall.

Flurries continue here turned up in intensity.

See you all later on, have things to do. I'll try to get on if I can. :good:

Yep will depend on wind / shower line direction whether you get something or bust.

Well the temps will fall away later once those -10s approach, so yep a wind lottery later :)

Yup, same in Woodhatch on my walk into Reigate... I've got to go to Banstead later - be interesting to see what's up there!

The third morning in a row I've woken up in Stevenage to a covering of freshly fallen snow.

I've known worse winters and not just last year!

quite heavy little snowflakes now, with patchy cover on grass and other surfaces except for roads and pavements.

Morning.

Light snow just started falling in Walderslade.

Doesn't feel as cold as it has felt in recent days.
