Went on a walk late morning today before the snow melt, visited the C.S Lewis Nature Reserve (Narnia was based on!) & Shotover Country Park a good 5-6cm laying there at the top. Took some snaps.

As usual Bristol and most of Somerset has missed out I'm not happy, in fact I'm quite sad I'm done with this cold weather. Useless

All right, you lovely peeps. I have squinted and peered at all the radars from every different angle and in none of them can I pretend that this band is going to dump over my house anymore so it looks like if I have to get up for work in the morning (boo!). Have a lovely night and morning. x

I really didn't expect to go this much west when it first start showing on radar around 10pm, Reading seems to be on East edge of it.

Don't give up yet! You're possibly in a better place than I am. Unless it widens to the NW, I will miss most of it.

No need for anyone to worry unless you're way out towards West Dorset or East Devon perhaps, it is still going strong and even parts of the South Coast look like getting a wee bit over the coming hours too . I do think I need some sleep.  :rofl:

 

Roughly 1cm still but heavier stuff now upon us. A wee bit more incoming for the East Berkshire folk too I'd suggest.

 

Amazing end to today or start to whatever, lol.  :sorry:

Trust me some of the flakes between 11:30-12am were huge. Amazing. 10:00-12:00am and 5cm.

As well as snow envy, have some light envy: our next door neighbour had two new security lights installed on her house so to see the snow I just have to stick my hand out of my front door and wave it!

NW v6 radar shows it up well enough so that's where I'm making my predictions from.
