Apart from holidays or the odd hot day in the summer I never have a drink other than Saturday and possibly Sunday so giving up for a while doesn't really bother me.

Couldn't drink in the week as it's bad enough getting up for work at stupid o'clock without feeling crap from drink.

Did it when I was younger but not now.

Right, can we start to steer this thread back onto the weather now please? There are other threads for talking about wine and hangovers etc.

Thanks,

SR

Yeah and for me they don't come much worse than a Red Wine hangover which is a shame because I much prefer it over beer these days.

Probably one of my favourite time-lapses, as of now! Some of those clouds in the late morning and afternoon were brilliant. Also, since it was a very spring-like day, I thought I'd accompany it with the second movement of Vivaldi's "Spring". It seems to go well with it.

Why do you want some.

Personally once we get into March my thoughts are towards spring, light nights, warmth, hay fever, midges, holidays etc etc and the failure of snow to turn up can wait until the next let down of a winter arrives.

But I think we'll certainly have more snow before hay fever season arrives and looking at the models, possibly sooner rather than later.

Blimey if the 18z verifies we will all be running to B&Q for snow

Shovels, probably the best wintry charts of the season.

Whats the saying oh yes "always leave the best to last"

Morning

Well it looks like spring is on hold, as the models seem to be

Firming up on a cold NW setting up, I would imagine our

Friend in Buxton will be rubbing his hands this morning, I

Would imagine the high ground will do quite well, with uppers

Of -5 to -8 there may be a few surprises on lower ground as well
