Broken cloud here in derby nice pleasent breeze blowing and a comfortable 25 degrees centigrade with 54% humidty a big change fromthe 88-94% of the last few days

And just a few miles inland, and then a few miles south from thundery wintry showers, we started off cloudy. Again. The sun broke through around 11 am and lifted temperatures to a sticky maximum of 25.1ºC. Currently cloudy again, temperature 23.5ºC. Last nights minimum 16.0ºC

In fact the temperature has now exceeded 20ºC on 11 out of the last 12 days, despite the rather cloudy, showery nature of the weather. Poor TWS will be lucky to have seen 1 day above 20ºC in the last 12 days on the drizzly, misty Tyneside coast. Probably the dullest weather in the world.

At 8pm the temp was still 24C, I would imagine its not often that value is seen at that time of the evening around here. The max today was 29.1C, the 2nd highest this year, after 8th June. Lovely sitting out on the patio with a glass of wine!
