Jeez it's a disco to my SE. Cambridge is taking an absolute pummelling by this. Nasty echoes returned in that area. Wouldn't be surprised to hear of flash flooding over that way.

Nothing here but it's been nice sitting in the garden with a mug of tea watching the lightning show over London. Really pleased for those who've seen something remarkable this evening.

Well my eyes are not deceiving me

Viewing from Chesterfield,  I can see distant flashes or the sky light up, whichever way you want to put it, which I assume are from the storms around Cambridge which must be 115 miles away...wow :)

Anyone living around here in North Derbyshire, go out and have a look

I don't see this much from the uk, but judging by how far you guys can see the storms, it would seem like a good night for sprite watching.

Im very jealous of the Londoners now, all sorts going off down there to the SE.        Where are all the pics and vids!!! :D

Not too much in London really. West London and far north London got a fair bit but most of Greater London missed the worst of it. Seems that Herts into Beds and Cambs and now into Norfolk has seen an absolute pummelling. So jealous!

Is that a supercell just north of Cambridge now, folks?

Hope your all enjoying our storms that triggered over us earlier haha, anyways was at Bowls most of the Evening so I missed out on the best of the Lightning to start, however as i finished, an incredible structured storm developed on the island, and gave some cgs and loud thunder, and the rain was enourmous! The 2nd wave wasn't all that special, gave quite a bit of lightning but was all up in the cloud, however the storms structure it self looked out of this world, was incredible!
