It will be of rain simply not cold enough however I'm looking at this blob to the NW.

My first artistry of the winter season. :D

I will say if it does not disintegrate this could produce snow for a few.

yeah I thought so . People reporting snow under that but not settling I would just be happy to see falling snow . Incidentally I was asked by the bbc if they could do some filming at my work to which I declined until the said they would be using a snow machine in the filming ]

Yes, seeing the other frames that seems to be the case.

The blob has weakened hopefully it peps up but I really do doubt that as typical of last winter.

I was looking at the lamppost avidly as you do and I could have sworn I saw some flakes mixed in.

Moderate showers quickly passed through intensity may play a large factor here.

A heavy sleety thudding shower on the Velux windows here. My NetAtMo shows 5 degrees but feel like temp @ 1 with windchill.

No changes to forecast tomorrow. Rain, sleet and snow arriving between 06:00 and 10:00 Sat morning

Will be setting alarm for 5am in case I succumb to tiredness.

It seems the mild sector is behind the main body of precipitation so possible sleet/snow on leading edge looks to start of as snow and then turn to rain. I will take it! :yahoo:

My friend was working some floors up in the Baby Shard in London last week and reported seeing flurries of snow all around her meeting room and naturally everyone dropped what they were doing and all rushed over to the window to stare at the flakes, just like we all used to do at school :-)

The Meto app wants to give me light snow at 3, as tempting as it is I hope I'll be zzzzzzz by then!
