Snow coming down here in south east Glasgow for past 10/15mins and already got a covering so no problems with snow landing! Just hope it continues for good few hours as I fear it's getting pushed through too fast.

Heavy snow here, about 2cm, everything looking Christmasy :D

I think it is going to stop soon though looking at the radar

Just pray she never moves you to the east neuk of Fife! ;-)

On the train back home. Skies getting brighter as we head east. Not much in the way of snow in the central belt but at least the frost is creating a nice wintry scene.

Still some snow cover in central Fife around Ladybank,Markinch & Big Innes neck of the woods.

Largo law is still white on it's North side, but the white stuff is disappearing quite quickly, was totally white yesterday evening.

A min of -4.7C last night. Right now it's -0.8C/-3.0C cloudy but still dry. It looks like the snow will get here and with that temperature/dew point not even Grangemouth would miss out on snow lying

Wtf the radar looks completely different to any forecasts. Just woke up (late night) and I'm amazed at how far east & how early the front is. Might even reach here!! Exciting day ahead :D

Around 3cm here although snow has gone off, hoping for more later.

Crazy to see a band of snow not weaking as it comes in from the north west - usually mountains kill any precipitation off. Got a good feeling about this one. Possibility of the thin but heavy band stalling over an area too once it reaches its furthest eastward progression!

Nothing in Stirling.

Snowshield in full operation.

Unfortunately it looks like it's not making it to you mate. So for this next week i'll be snowless again :(

edit: seeing your reports above maybe not.

i was merely judging by the BBC forecast.

Nothing here yet but should be here by 1/2pm (fingers crossed)

Great to read the snow reports elsewhere. Unfortunately there isn't a hope of that band reaching here! Nice winters day though so no complaints :)

The first main band is literally just outside Stirling and tracking towards us - so fingers crossed the hairdryers in the west have all been unplugged.

It's not slowing down yet or losing intensity so pretty sure we're okay! Been so long since I've seen proper snow that I'm literally F5'ing the radar every 5 seconds

Nothing yet think 30 mins away from here. I expect it to reach all but East Lothian.
