Best not to ask how you took that one, eh!?

Been in Clonmel most of the day, few rain and sleet showers there, so sign of snow yet today. Back in Cashel it's 0.5C and beginning to freeze over.

Heavy snow shower just passed here, a light covering on the roads now.

I can confirm it literally snowed here for 30 seconds. ...lightly

Well u were right then MS. U got your snow. U get shovel out yet. Does they merit a warning ! Ha ha. What's your take for the east rest of eve? I'm just not convinced one little bit. I think this is classic met office covering their ass again!! What has got me worried is that Northern Ireland weather on Facebook have no warning out and they throw them out willy nilly at any opportunity !! Unless they have issued one in last hr! Very poor effort so far.

I think we will see some more Snow in the East but the showers are lacking any real intensity just now.

I'm still hopeful of a covering by morning.

Haha Born, I made a risky drive significantly riskier to satisfy my childish need to photo snow!

Would you believe it, all ready for an evenings lamppost watching and the two nearest ones black out! Anyway here is the latest out the front of my house.

Good evening folks. Haven't posted for a while but been watching models for some time. This as I would call it cool spell will be pretty much be a damp squib for most. Sleet / rain on coasts and snow inland and on higher ground. The models have been all over the place. Never seen it as bad. Some dream charts have evaporated away that would have possibly brought a DEC 2010 spell to all even on coasts. This I don't think will last beyond next Monday at most. I really do hope for a good February to rescue a poor winter.

Hope some get the snow they crave.
