I follow far to many people on Twitter in N Ireland and Scotland, and this morning it is extremely depressing seeing all their snow pics and videos. :nonono:

surely we are well overdue a dump of snow. Feels like blinking donkeys years since we last had a proper snow event.

Let's get out of this year's dismal winter and El Niño, and maybe next year will improve.

Yep  the wintery line here seems to be about 350 metres. Even then it's more rain than snow. Just shows with a polar maritime north west wintery bits and pieces are available just that you need the elevation.

It was more sleet and occasional wet flakes mixed in here than rain but showers have been fairly light.

Who knows maybe we can salvage a single snow cover day before spring?

42 out of 61 days this winter have had double figure maxima!

48 days here! Though that includes at least one (yesterday) where the maxima was during the early hours and it didn't reach 10C during daylight hours.

2.7C last night but very mild today.. reached 14.2C earlier. If it was one day later that would be the highest I have recorded in February, but January reached (a possible longer term record of) 16.3C last year.

Is that an app that supplies a forecast @Zephyr ? The pressure reading is looks to be a bit low?

It's meant to use the inbuilt barometer in the iPhone 6s Plus it does seem a bit low like you say with other stations around the area :S
