Snowing last half hr here in West Yorkshire,sticking on cars,roofs at 71m absl

Been snowing on and off all morning, just turned a lot heavier. Have about an inch but starting to melt.

The area of preciptation is intensifying to the west and north of Manchester. Almost looks a squall line.

Most of the heavy stuff going over north pennies into Yorkshire.  I've been stuck in the cull of nothingness.  There will no doubt be a 20 min sting as the backedge passes through, but not quite lived up to the forecast last night of 3 hrs of heavy snow from 7-10am.
