Weather warning just issued

Ice will be the main hazard but light PPN may produce a cm or so of snow in places.

don't think I will be getting my sledge out LOL

A few flakes fluttering down, had the check the radar, barely anything to it, but when zooming in there is a very slight amount of precipitation.  Adds to the wintry feeling, but a slow thaw of snow from the more prone spots... cars, pavements, and rooftops etc..

About 60% snow thawed out here. The wind is bone chilling here and clouds gathering too, maybe bit more too come.

Roads thawing - cloud cover - still lying snow on grass and pavements.

All eyes on the SW.

Those keeping an eye on that band coming from the SW are going to be sensationally disappointed. That's rain all the way. DPs not conductive.

Travelling outside Liverpool today, literally the second I got past Liverpool I could see snow patches.

More cloud moving in blocking the sun out, temp 2.3c with 1c DP causing a slow thaw.

Just had a wet flurry, nothing to write home about. Continued thaw. Just scraped about 1.5 inches off the top of the car.

Seems to be kicking into life a little, not sure it will produce too many problems, but some lucky folks will see falling snow from them.

From a little speck in the wirral @ 11am..

too something a little more potent 2hrs later..
