Well it's great to have clear skies and frost again before we return to mild muck this weekend. Down to -1.6°C at the mo.

Yes Jack Frost sprinkling some of his booty tonight, but he's already running fast to the East and will eventually be chased out of Europe and into Russia as the Mild & Damp weather moves back in with relative ease, after a 10 day exodus.  Back to square one.

Cloud thickening now with the rain not too far away, frost was gone when I woke up, currently 5.3c with noticeable SE'ly wind.

Today is the complete opposite to yesterday, going dark by 3pm, murk across the hill-tops with rain encroaching. As opposed to the blue skies and slight winter-sunburn I got from yesterdays walk out in the hills.

10C today. Much better! :D

can agree but depending on weather, 2C wet or 10C dry, then prefer 10C by a mile

2C dry and 10C wet, then give me 2C

but prefer warmer rain better, so say 1C and wet or 10C wet, give me 10C

The first  double-figure max since 30/12 at 11.0°C today. Didn't even manage an air frost on Wed night, min was 0.1°C...talk about a kick in the teeth!

This winter is running well behind the last in terms of snow and frosts, with no falling snow and just one air frost. By this point last winter there had been 2 snowfalls and 12 air frosts...and we thought that was bad! To top it off, my current monthly mean temp is running at 0.5°C above the C.E.T. February had better make up for all this!!!

Sorry rant over lol :-)
