This time last week snow was falling and settling. Now, things are looking grim for the foreseeable.

This time last week the drizzle was piling in and everywhere was soaking wet. Some people are still waiting for their first snow of the winter Karyo!

This time last week there was a dusting of snow on the ground (slowly melting)... Tonight it's 13c and feeling mild, bit breezy as well. Very unsettled week coming up!

21C and sunny here this weekend. Feels weird in Europe in the dead of winter. Didn't have many of these days last summer thanks to horrible persistent NWerlies. :nonono:

A very brief burst of rain marking the cold front a few minutes ago after a dry, bright, and exceptionally mild day. Max temp 14.1°C, falling rapidly back now, currently 9.9°C.

Just had a mini-squall line pass through - nothing too severe but interesting watching develop a little on the radar.  It's been threatening to rain all day, and it finally did.  A clearance should follow with cooler temps.

Jo Brand will have an interesting day walking over the Peak District tomorrow!! http://www.sportrelief.com/whats-going-on/jo-brands-hell-of-a-walk/the-route#/type/map

Glad to see that the warnings for Tuesday's rain have been removed for my area and amounts reduced generally.

if we can't have the American's snow then they can keep their damn rain.

never mind at least once again this winter, exceptionally mild temperatures are being ruined by a lack of sunshine.

Not a bad ECM this evening with quite a few potent PM Blasts, first one been on Saturday with snow showers getting down to low

Levels, followed by another blast on Tuesday,ok no pro-longed cold spell, but better than nothing.

Well, at least 5 hours of sunshine in St Asaph, North Wales today, from 10am to 4pm. Forecast of course was for overcast skies. :D

Cloud throughout up here with heavy rain and gusty winds as a squall came through late afternoon.
