Almost unbroken sunshine here, since the early morning convection disappeared...20C...If anything, the nearest CZ is even farther away today than it was yesterday...

Can see two aviils out to sea, don't know which way they are heading, or if they are sparking.

There's a long line/bank of cirrus clouds about fifty-miles-or-so out to sea; however, I cannae tell whether its storm remnants of just cack?

Edit: there are anvils up to the NNW; watch-out Naarwich?:D

Not a bad day here today, partly sunny and felt warm in any lengthy sunny breaks.

Love the fact the showers are very light over our area, got a 10k run tonight...

I thought the England team had done that till the second half, thank goodness for our choice of substitute strikers.

A lot of cloud today, some sunny intervals and some heavy showers. Winds again variable. In fact this has to be the one of the most prolonged spell of days where we haven't had one solid wind direction.

How far is Beccles from Chatteris? But, anyways, it's been almost unbroken sunshine here since around 11 am! We seem to be in a sliver of clear skies between anvils to the N and NW and some frontal-like cirrus/stratus stuff way out in the North Sea.:D

Who knows what tomorrow might bring!:cc_confused:

Big storm to my south, not moving much, I can hear thunder and see lightning, even though it's far away.

Is any of it sounding like bangs instead of thunder?

quite far actually, a good 60-70 miles, enough to make an easterly or south easterly off shore here. There was a stunning storm structure to my east as I drove to Cambridge (watching Bill Bailey tonight). Didn't get wet though luckily.
