Interesting update from met office for peak district, going for temporary accumulations of 10-20cm tomorrow.... dont know how 10-20cm could be temporary but.....ties in with arome charts for tomorrow.....

Bbc website has temperature of 5c and rain for Glossop tomorrow not saying it's correct of course

I usually count myself as crowden on BBC as it's nearer my elevation 300m as Glossop is 158m and BBC says my nearest observations are leek.... hehe bit of a mishmash....

Tops of the tops might get a bit of something wintry, but I'm expecting a fair dollop of cold rain all the way here.  At least High Pressure is on the way to settle things down next week.  Wonder if we'll have one of those days were the fog never lifts.  Hope so.

And I now have an air frost. Local Met Office weather station down on the beach has fallen to -1.0°C. Obviously a substantial inversion going on tonight.

1.3C now here.. frosty and glistening, but water is not frozen as yet.

Didn't get any-more more than the briefest covering of light powdered snow going over Snake-Pass during the morning, although from this week's showers there's a good half a meter (in places) of drifting up on the hills. More evident was the windchill and thick moorland fog which didn't abate until just before midday.

1c raining......looking at radar snowing on hills around though.....
