Well, among varied possibilities of course, but broad trend to a cyclonic period w temps *generally* below avg frm about Sat on & into mid-Dec looks a fair shout based on 00z EC ENS. Background forcing (La Nina, eQBO; MJO heading to P6 in ca. 5d) suspected influential thereafter

I reckon disruptive #snow is likely end of week/weekend. Scotland, Wales & N Ireland probably hit hardest, but anywhere could get a few cm. Yes snow to low levels.

Not a tweet but does relate to the model output - unsure if it belongs here or in the winter discussion area of the forum.

Good insight into the ridging pattern from the Pacific that looks to drive the downstream weather - i.e. that across the N. Atlantic and N. Europe - over the coming 2+ weeks.
