Mapantz is staying (semi) level headed, good job given it's 8.8C and drizzling here, a sign of things to come @Mapantz

Viewer content of Countryfile, to exceed 20million, as power companies prepare for possible outages due to increase network loading...

Not such a nice start  to the day here with a cloudy morning but dry at the moment.

Seems there was no toy throwing this morning.

Steve you think we will actual have snow in WSM?

If we do tap into the Easterly, then I think anywhere will see snow.

Temps will be cold enough, and there looks like plenty of instability within the flow.

We would be ultra unlucky not to see any.

Which will mysteriously plummet after the week ahead forecast.

Looking at the ENS I would say FI starts around day 5? I wouldn't trust anything beyond that time frame myself personally, and deffo not in the day 10 time frame I've been sucked off/ / in so many times only to feel disappointed, if the output remains constant though I'll get more drawn in over the coming week, think I'll stay on the side of cation for a bit esp as undoubtedly there will be some shortwave drama somewhere a long the line's there wouldn't be a cold spell without one. :rofl:

I was wondering if the MetO might put a warning out for fog, later?

Visibility looks poor due to damp and slack winds;
