Been quite heavy on and off in Warminster since around midday. Much needed he said through gritted teeth!

Briefly had some quite heavy rain but only for about 15 minutes. A couple of mm from that lot at least. Beginning to brighten up a bit now.

Feeling slightly fresher today, however still comfortable in the sunshine. Received no rain at all yesterday and only totalled 23mm of rain for the entire month of May, the below average rainfall continues.

Currently 20.8°C and mostly sunny. Breezy with SW'ly winds.

As ever with these days of showers coming up the spine of the peninsula, we get nowt.  A blustery, mostly sunny, day with a nip in the breeze when the sun's gone in.  Back to the watering can this evening.

We’ve had a few brief showers at the edge of the shower streamer that’s been to the NW since late morning. Otherwise plenty of sunshine. Temperature has been yoyoing between 14c to 19c depending on which phase the conditions are in.

Carrying on May's theme of 'usable' weather today with lengthy bright spells. Never particularly warm other than in the sun. Cloudier this evening.

I have a another weather station set up and one of the sensors reads PM 2.5 levels. The last day or two, I have been getting readings that are considered 'bad' I thought it might be faulty, but after reading an article, it may have been correct. Apparently, wild fires in Canada have had their smoke carried right across the Atlantic to the UK and have shown up on satellite imagery.

The term fine particles, or particulate matter 2.5 (PM2.5), refers to tiny particles or droplets in the air that are two and one half microns or less in width. ... The widths of the larger particles in the PM2.5 size range would be about thirty times smaller than that of a human hair.
