Wind picked up a little here to 10-14mph for an hour or so around 3pm and strangely the temp was still rising.
But the SW wind must be bringing some warmer air
Had gone back down to 2-3mph, but has since started to rise to 10-14mph again.

I think the only thing missing is a drop rain, to bring the veggies on..

Currently 18.9°C after a peak of 20.3°C at: 14:42, patchy cloud still down your way @lettice looking at this..(albeit high cloud)

The cloud has been a little patchy, but did not really stop the gorgeous sun getting through all afternoon.
Got to 18.7c mid afternoon, dropping now, down to 16.9c

I think I will forego a little rainwater for the Portsmouth Water supplied tap water via the hose to keep the sunshine for now.
Looking like a few showers of rain in the forecast possible end of next week, so not quite a drought yet

I did go a bit mad too and have also put all my greenhouse and outside tomatoes out too.
So far all looking good after their move. Those first few hours are the worst when they keel over a little. Phew!

Headed down Fawley way today to see Mum. Socially distanced in the garden, of course. Would've been Dad's 79th, so didn't want her to be on her own.

Our end of the New Forest was the busiest we've ever seen it on the way back.

Another decent day weatherwise. Cloudy blips are fading now, as it cools so looking like another cracking evening.

In other exciting news....two new purchases this week. Both life changing. A retractable hose and a cordless mower. No more kinks and we're saving the planet. Kind of.

Cloud encroaching from the West now, but as with every day this week, a better day than was forecast.

Yes, was expecting it to be much clouder, from my memory of yesterday's forecast.. down to 9.9°C this evening.

Looks like another great week coming up.

My boy’s favourite cheese on toast clouds !

Another lovely weekend day for not being able to have a proper day out! We considered driving to the coast but decided what’s the point if we can’t have fish & chips or an ice cream without queuing for god knows how long! That viewpoint might change in the weeks ahead.

Well as much as I didn't  think today might be the warmer of the two weekend days, it did eventually get up there, with 22.1°C at: 14:16. The cloud has certain ly been more persistent today than yesterday so we must have managed an early afternoon gap to drive it up there...

Morning All, after an overnight low of 6.3°C at: 06:08, the temperature is climbing, helped in part I suspect with a change in the wind direction, now coming in from the warmer SW direction, so begins the warming this week, oh yes it's currently 14.6°C and the humidity is falling like a stone, now at 66%..

This mornings' satellite picture shows cloud in the SW approaches and Knockerland, meanwhile here it is clear,..
