Their servers are being sucked of bandwidth at the moment.

I wonder if the ECMWF GRIBS will be available as well? That would be a nice touch.

Doesn't look like it at the moment, it's just the charts themselves.

I wonder how this came about?

So we have the Americans and Europeans giving us loads of free weather stuff. When will the UK do the same?

You can view charts for any area in the world.

Am I correct to say that you cannot see the eps charts for days 11 to 15 ??  (Apart from clusters)

That won't happen.

The policy is regarding EU countries allowing data to be available as a whole. Numerous countries around the world have their own version of an open data policy, but it doesn't block access to citizens outside of that particular country.
