First significant move by the Icon, pulls the low to the south east a little more at 96 allowing colder air in quicker.

is this good or bad for us?

At this point we can afford to screw the south east and just focus on as much precipitation staying here as possible.

What direction should this stuff be heading?

NE to SW?

SE to NW?

Rolling down from the North East in a southerly direction before drawing in Easterly winds

Perversely it's actually a tad better for us if the low is somewhere around the below Birmingham lattitude rather than in France for that reason.

It's nice to see so many areas getting snow not just certain areas at least we can all enjoy abit of it

Could be several hours of snow fall leading to some great totals

Interesting times for Lincolnshire. Certainly looks like going to be our first proper taste of winter since Feb/March 2018.  Not quite the beast but I think going to be at least a feral animal from Finland (sorry best I could come up with) and it does seem to be upgrading so never say never.

Really hoping North Lincolnshire gets in on the action.

My daughter was only 8 months old when we had the last beast and snow days ..

So... I'd love to have a few real snow days.. She was so excited the other day with the slushy excuse of covering we had lol
