Not far from clearing Ireland now.

Could reach us in the early hours of the morning (3/4am) if it does not decide to track south.

Really appreciate you pointing this out. Looking promising!

You can see it’s already starting to pivot even on that still. Probably won’t even get north of Birmingham

I’ve just been looking at that too. It looks like the northern arm of the front is modelled to die out. We don’t want it to.

I'm praying I get at least a dusting down here. Enjoyed all the snow pictures from this thread!

I personally think it will end up in the place it was previously modelled but it will arrive quicker than modelled.

Yes, did not see that either. The pivot much more noticeable on the Meteo 3hr radar!

Will check again around midnight.

I’d say Cardiff was in a fairly decent spot! I recall a couple of red warnings for your area in the past 5 years or so. Decent little place for a proper mixed bag

We are approaching -2C. That’s our forecast low for the night. Only, it’s almost four hours earlier than forecast. Might see -4/-5 tonight.

Just looked at the temp gauge in the greenhouse (whilst stalking an owl in the woods at the bottom of the garden, no wonder the cat wouldn't come in)

It's reading - 1.5°C and its generally 1.5 to 2 degrees colder outside of the greenhouse.

It's lethally icy out there, skies are crystal clear ??

Clearly the further south in the region, the risk for snow increases but looking at the radar and predictions, they seem fairly similar too me.

Unless something develops in the Irish Sea before the front, for the vast majority it look an uneventful night.

According to the week ahead forecast Tuesday-friday milder with spells of rain from Saturday turning colder again with PPN turning to snow.

C.S

Still uncertainty how far north the front goes tomorrow according to Nick Miller on the weather just now the northern boundary on the Graphics was over cheshire south Liverpool area.

Did any one notice that there seems to be a second circulation to the top left on Sat 24 in addition to the low just to the NW of Ireland?

Been looking at that since yesterday but not sure about the trajectory

Yeah it's pivoting already it might even go south of Birmingham looking at it. Sliders are frustrating for our part of the world but a lot of places down south have yet to see their first snowfall. At least this wasn't as bad as the infamous 'slider gate' of a few years ago heh.
