That’s as bad as missing a pen in the World Cup! Just a little under the bar please 🙏

I'm sure it'll float down to you guys. Unlike Kane's pen.

You can almost guarantee those showers will fizzle out before they touch land,  or about 2miles in.

The activity is certainly popping up though.

Looking at the radar, my guess is showers hitting land approx 11.15, may spread across to maybe Corbridge area as seem to be intensifying slightly. May leave a slight fresh covering, fingers crossed.

Looks like that shower will hit just north of Hartlepool then maybe drift over to Bishop that's assuming it doesn't just dissipate as soon as it hits land.

temp here now -2.1c was -4.8c at half time, hinting a drift from sea which matches the direction that the few blobs on the radar just of the coast are indicating, so some might get a few flakes in the next few hours

Freezing fog here everywhere coated in thick frost

Those showers are edging closer nothing marginal about them this evening

First batch looks to far north for me but they are extremely slow moving so could drop a cm or two

I wish those god damn showers currently battering Aberdeen and Dundee would drop south 150 miles or so.

Teesside are always in the worst spots. Happens all the time.

I think it’s looking good for coastal areas of Teesside but probably won’t get to far inland. There plenty of shower activity as ever just luck where they hit

Some quite intense showers there if they are slow moving enough could drop a couple of centimetres. A couple of centimetres would probably last until next Sunday at least. That's all I want really.

Bishop might actually be in the prime spot for once.

Another half hour or so could see some flakes under some poor LED streetlights
