Not holding out much hope in bradford on avon. temperature is 3.1c and it will lose intensity.

As long as the dewpoint remains below 0'c then it should settle as long as the intensity holds!

Met Office now going for a spell of heavy snow here in N Hants. 
The last remnants of last weekends snowmen/igloos only melted yesterday!

Dropped a little from-0.6c to -0.4c at least give us a covering before turning to rain.

Still a bonus though, all forecasts had it as sleety rain with snow reserved for higher ground.

Wasn't expecting the temp and DP to drop, but down to 1.4c and -0.4c

300ft asl Portishead: Snowing nicely. 1oC but Dew -0.5oC....if the temps hold at this level it could be a good 10cm...

Morning all, it's snowing here, only light but it's steady and settling. Hubby back in from his 'I'm getting some fresh air, come what may' bike ride reported a low of -3 on his garmin. Add in wind chill and his 'kin flip it's freezing' is probably fairly accurate.

Had a peek at the radar, seems this is coming up from the SW, any chance that enormous blob currently over Wales is going to slide this direction?
