Looks like snow in Gloucester so Stroud could get some

Yeah, unfortunately it is still moving slightly north here. It’s odd outside, it’s almost like you can feel the cold air mixing with mild, the wind is very cutting, and quite strong. Bit of radar watching today I think!

BONUS We have sunshine!

Precipitation over Worcestershire has really picked up. Be interested to hear from anyone in the area as to what is currently falling.

I noticed that - reckon that would be snow over highest ground at least. Come on, come south! The cold is filtering in...

Its turned to snow here in the Cotswolds in the last 40 mins or so (212m ASL - about 4 miles south of Cheltenham).  Quite odd "icy" snow though - I'd guess it has slightly melted & refrozen on its way down.  Nothing settling & not sure if it will.  Right on the edge of the main band.... fingers crossed it starts moving south...

Been snowing for last 30 mins here in West Oxon. Looks like we're right on the back edge and the band is moving north - or at least contracting north - so looks like won't see much more out of this!

Main band has moved just north of here now - so stopped to all intents and purposes... will it come back later....?

Rotten day. 6.3C and constant drizzle.

Clearing out the kitchen cupboards, as there's b*gger all else to do.

What's the oldest use by date that can be kept for tinned stuff?

I reckon soup and beans from 2016 are fine, but I'm being advised otherwise.

In theory use by dates for cans is just over precaution.... canned food has been found that is many decades old and perfectly edible because the vacuum seal hasn’t been broken. I reckon those 2 would smell pretty bad if they really went off 5 years ago!

That's what I thought. I'll have a crack at them in the week.

That's the plan. Had a fish finger sarnie for lunch, so it'll have to wait.

A posh fish finger sandwich btw. I'm not six.

Edit. Snow on the footie on BBC1, at West Brom.

I see the Met have finally cancelled the nigh on pointless weather warning two hours before it was due to end.

Should have been cancelled this morning IMO.
