South East and East Anglia Weather Discussion January 2021 onwards

SST’s perhaps having an impact on the Ppn off the coast. Around 10c right out in the middle of the Southern N.Sea where we see the heavier Ppn. But nearer 7.5-8c around the Suffolk, Essex, N.Kent coastline. Perhaps some dissipation as it nears our shores in the cooler water.

Still just have fog, but also still have negative DP -1

Really Impressive here as well for the Estuary

Temp -1.2c and DP -1.2

Its actually freezing out there and feels like if anything makes it into the Estuary this evening WILL fall as snow

No fog here in town at the moment but can still see it just up the road on the hills.

Thick fog in Eythorne all day long

Temperature has already dropped to 1.3c in St Leonards, after a high of around 4c earlier. Been a lovely sunny day!

Foggy off the cliffs at St Margaret's Bay earlier today.

Precipitation looks great out in the North Sea but seems to be disintigrating as soon as it hits the coast.

Circled is the keen area of interest!

That main clump to the south of the bit you've circled looks like it may clip east/south Kent at best? Do you think more convection will build out in the N Sea and affect more of the region?

Yeah the arpege does show a few sleet and snow showers for the southeast this evening and overnight.. showed it yesterday too

After a sunny morning with temp peaking at 1.4C at 1.21pm it suddenly turned foggy around 2.15pm and the temperature plummeted to now -0.8C. Feel bitter.

I think that and the stuff bukding just to the south of your circle now on radar
