Keen interewt that everything seemingly touching land rapidly cools as time is going on could bring more Snow when it goes across Kent looking good at the moment.

Just cold drizzle here in Ipswich at the min, temp just above 0°C and dew just below. I’m assuming we need some heavier precipitation?!

Bekijk waar het de komende 3 uur en 24 uur regent in Nederland

More than likely to happen as I’m on nights tonight fingers crossed we get some in snow starved Southend/Leigh/Benfleet and it makes its way to East London so I can see some falling ??We normally do quite well out of theses events that pop up within a few hours

I've got my fingers crossed that ppn scrapes Hastings and St Leonards! Think it's gonna fizzle before it reaches here though!

One 'enjoyable' thing to look forward to if it snows

A rarity for Kent

- Sub zero temps ✅

- Sub zero dewpoints ✅

- PPN ✅

- No Wind ✅

This mean the snowflakes will fall at the slowest rate possible because they will be dry & light with plenty of air...

Could be exciting if your a snow geek...

-0.7c / -1.0

Judging by the amount of posts on Friday afternoon, there's a lot of us!

well, today we slowly climbed up to 1.7c at 13:45, but now we are back down to 0.9c.  we wait to see if anything wintery develops and makes it this far in such a slack flow.

just hope they can maintain intensity.

Steve - when do you think the main interest is time frame wise?

I knew I'm not  Steve but for today 5-6 sort of time probably.

Light snow in essex now but the real interest is the clumping of heavier snow showers out to the NE

Circled is the keen area of interest!

This is the area of interest in my opinion tomorrow evening, as I mentioned earlier. Forget that stuff to the North & West (Unless you are in the extreme NW of our region) More chance of a flurry or two coming from the N.Sea as winds back NE>ENE later tomorrow. Low chance but something to keep an eye on...

All going to plan as per my post yesterday. Just need some snow to fall in the region now and ill award myself a gold star!

I can confirm zero snow in Holland On Sea two miles from Clacton in answer to your question   Certainly dew points are low enough we just need some North Sea convection.  An Ice day today.

Its freezing fog being picked up by the radar
