I've noticed the weather in the Liverpool area tends to be better than the rest of the region. Probably to do with the fact that they are sheltered by the Pennines from weather to the east and sheltered by the Welsh Mountains by weather from the south west.

We are already wetter than June.

Not at all surprised.

Not a great day today. Overcast, light rain, breezy, and according to my computer, currently just 13C. ?️ Still would rather have that than 30C heat imo.

Sounds like this amatuer weather forecaster was a bit drunk when he did his forecast!

I'm actually sat in the garden in a pair of shorts. Living by the coast does have some benefits

Sun has come out here and warmed up a bit as well. Quite a breeze but pleasant in the sun.

Thought I heard a rumble then but nothing showing on Lightning map.  Might have just been my belly advising me it's time for tea.  These small fast growing peppercorn showers from the west are delivering more intense heavy spells of rain here than watching a slow moving mass move up from the South only to eventually die a death north of the M60.  All depends of where you live I expect.

13 degrees? Mmm think that might be an error. Would be a very below average July temp. Its turned into a fair day. Just a couple of light short lived showers. Current temp 18.3 degrees. Still below par for July but an ok day. Cool breeze.

Temps on the up again across the western part of America. Death Valley into the 50's from tomorrow. Interesting how it's 40C+ at midnight. Jeez. It's going to be interesting to see the final summer figures for the area stretching into Canada with that crazy heatwave they had. Temps well above normal I'd have thought. And it doesn't help with the long standing Exceptional Drought that the area is experiencing either.

It was actually that temp temorarily while it was raining at 1:40 pm today (checked with a local weather station). Maxed out at 17.1C at 16:52 in the sunshine, about 3 degrees below average here for July. Now currently 14.8C with 89% humdity after a shower passed through.

That weather station is quite high up and in the countryside though, so probably around 0.5-1C warmer where I am.

Not a bad day, certainly from lunchtime onwards but once again heavy rain has ruined the evening.

Raining here too. Again! Glad I don't have a dog to walk anymore.

Turned into a pleasant evening here so far. Cumbria in a clear weather window it seems, clear skies with a bit of cloud and late sunshine.

Was 13c at 1245pm coming back from Morrison’s at Hyde… warmest part of day 17.5c at 5pm sun came out between showers… how many times since April has the sun eventually come out at 4-5pm? Seems to have been quite a lot…

Been a gloomy evening here with some heavy downpours. 10 pm and dark already with heavy cloud. The nights see, to be rapidly drawing in now already, thanks to all these cloudy evenings recently. Was pitch black by 11 pm last night. Those long light evenings we had in June seem like a distant memory.
