One quick look at todays 12Z ECM and knew it'd be like that without having to go near it. They never learn, wobbles galore in the last few days from all of the models but one poor run and its all doom and gloom. 

We could normally send in our resident **** stirrer with snowy pictures , but as he's moved to Perth that might not be an option this winter.

Really cold today with fresh north wind making cleaning up the neep lifter a fun job. However pleased with store we got up yesterday..

Into last field of ploughing today so weather can do what it likes from Thursday.  Maximum of 4c today.

Showery day, all of rain (including the one ongoing just now).

Winds starting to pick up in the last hour or so, generally calm earlier today.

Not warm at a max of 4c, currently 1c.

Just noticed a new (to me) "Snow View" button in MS Edge which appears when you press the "winter weather" snowflake icon - https://www.msn.com/en-gb/weather/maps/radar/.

Looks mighty pretty, especially the timelapse of the projected snow depth. 

The accuracy waits to be seen - I could believe the 2cm by noon Saturday they are predicting for here.

But 22cm in Macduff is more questionable...

Still rain showers in Aberdeen city. Only white I can see on webcams at the moment is at Braemar and Cockbridge so above 300m - as is Cushnie seen earlier this evening in this thread

2c with wintry showers to start the day. Local roads are predominantly wet apart from elevated sections which have a slight dusting of snow.

Morning all, still searching for that elusive first air frost, overnight low +1c. Great to see that old favourite ‘snow away from the immediate coast’ feature in the Met O forecast. 

Remember to check your wet baws if snow is falling but not lying.

A very wet 1cm here, which took all evening to accumulate in steady dandruflurries. 0.5C and hasn’t been below freezing since Sunday night.

-5.8c here this morning.

Think this equaled the lowest temp from the beginning of the year.

-5.8c and me and the boy go off to work with just a jumper on! Luckily mine is a Christmas jumper so protects me from the cold!

I'm guessing that occluded front coming down N. Sea is where my wee snaw symbols are from 7 tae 11 am the morn.

A green scene outside with just a hint of white on the top of the surrounding hills.

Quite frequent blustery showers overnight and this morning, all of rain so far.

Overnight low of 1.2c, currently 2.5c with a brisk NW wind.

Not much snow to be seen at any of the usual road cameras sites...
