9k run round westhill tonight and it was positively balmy - far too many layers on. Maybe a bit chillier next week tho ?

Very wet day up here around 2 inches rain last 4 days v windy again but mild. Just starting south for the long trek to Spain.

A bit a wet day (understatement of the year so far) yesterday in Wester Ross. I was looking for animal signs by rivers and quickly abandoned ship when the water levels quickly rose to the point where I thought, if I fall in there, I won't get out alive...

Christ this weather is boring...its nearly hitting double digits and no sun, the cloud temp is +4.5deg/C there's no cold up there either.

I've been trying to remember the last time we had decent snow on the ground here, I think it was 27th December...which is like forever ago.

Felt cooler today than yesterday but max was a actually degree or so higher at 10.8C.  Nice sunset.

And shortly afterwards a perfect circle/halo round the moon. Remember being told that this was a prelude to snow coming but at 8C I doubt it somehow.

Stormy last night with plenty of debris blowing around, morning revealing that both bins had blown over with contents  asunder .

Mild overnight with a low of 10c, bit cooler during the day with a max of 9c.  Light winds and plenty of classic Aberdeenshire Permagloom.

The dog seems to have decided that winter is over as its shedding it's winter coat with hair getting everywhere - that canine ownership pleasure usually waits until March...

Dross of a winter continues for my area continues ( dec cold spell aside ) Daytime high of 10c today and constant gloomy drizzle...  stuck in a rut.

Yes much easier to move around today no wind and really heavy jacket off. Even birds are singing.  However ground surface very gloopy so needs a few rain free days to dry up a bit. 

 

Back starting to lock up today but relief is nigh as I see  "other women tomorrow to unlock it. Family are delighted to see me go as I  should be less grumpy after.

If this weather keeps up might be getting my mower oot. Just back from Tesco and car reading 12c. At least the wind has now eased and no rain.

Well the first few days in the new hoose have gone well, currently back in Perth b4 Sundays exodus.. im still thinking that winter isn't done with us yet and we are going to see at least 1 more major snaw fest before winter is out.. 

Also what with the new layout on here?? Very strange and also difficult to find what looking for..

Welcome back to the locality. I'd agree with you that there is plenty of time for another notable snowfall, but at the moment the models aren't showing anything along those lines unfortunately. Only really been glancing at them occasionally though.

Currently 7C here, fairly calm looking and a sheet of light grey cloud keeping the sun under cover. Dry though.

Ha! I guess it must be this boring mild weather making me think we’d be as well getting some nice spring sunshine. Might be my age as well, cannot really be bothered with dark and cold like I used to be! 
 

I also struggle with the way in which spring comes along and brings extra light but no great warmth. So any early warmth would be welcome, but I suppose I should be realistic and wait til about mid March!

Rain just starting here. Mild at 8.8C. 
Brother and family stuck in the ski resort, Obergurgl, that they are at in Austria due to the road out being blocked by drifts. Supposed to be home this morning but they won't get out until tomorrow but unfortunately can't ski as lifts closed because of avalanche risk and high winds. Road out of the town this morning.

 

edit. And view from my brothers hotel window this morning. Wish that was here!

Nice bright spring morning(at 11c) ground really drying up and birds singing only to turn very dank and wet this afternoon undoing all the good work of this morning. This grumpy old sod feeling much better tonight with back unlocked this afternoon.

Beautiful morning. Had to scrape the car early doors before heading out. Sad state of affairs when that's a surprise in February

Same here, early frost and a nice morning, but as with yesterday a veil of high cloud largely masking the sun. Still, it's calm and feels warmer than the 3.7C the weather station just up the road says it is. Maybe it feels warmer as I'm just back from a 1.5hr walk with the dog, and was slightly overclothed by the end

Slight frost overnight. Quiet weather. Feeling springlike during the daytime, but I doubt winter is done with us yet. The odd clear night has been welcome. Took some snaps of the 'Green' comet and M51.
