Afternoon, weather still a bit yawny here though it was extremely windy last night. The dog was stripped last week so tried to get him to wear his coat. Didn't last long as he just kept refusing to walk.

A beautiful day here, took the dog out on a long walk and Mrs Mair Snaw got trigger happy with the camera.. dog loved it and was out for the count not long after coming home..  😂😂

Hopefully my digger driving/chainsaw wielding racket in the woods in front of you didn't ruin your walk too much!

It did turn out to be a cracking day, some warm sunshine at times once the wind died down. Tomorrow looking pretty promising too.

Dull, mild and a bit breezy here. Pffft.

Another diversion - there's a documentary called Into the Ice on iplayer. Chilling. Worth a watch if you either want a snow/ice fix or are interested in climate change.

Yeah Glasgow has been like that for about a fortnight it feels like. Only punctuated by rain and darkness.

11 deg/C this morning...I am seriously thinking about removing my winter tyres from the motor.

The daft tread has given in chasing this one, they finally gave in to there will be no cold this month.

March is too late for decent cold, might as well look forward to some spring weather.

However remember what's happened for the past couple of years a perfect winter set-up appeared right when we didn't want it...most unwelcome it was.

and 20.8C in Porthmadog for Wales- another new record

We've had some sun every single day for weeks and bright blue skies & sun now! 😁 Well nearly every day, very nearly!

Wet start, permagloom morning then bit brighter in afternoon with some sharp showers of rain to add some excitement.

Feeling cold out even with light winds, temperature dropping throughout the day - currently 1.5c.

Some clear spells this evening allowing good visibility around 7pm of the conjunction of the crescent moon with Jupiter and Venus - looked a lot more impressive than the photo, honest!

Well the mad house is like an xmas pantomime... its gonna snaw.. oh no it isnt.. oh yes it is.. the absolute knicker wetting by some is hilarious to view..

Personally im thinking we are going to get one last bashing from winter between now and end if March, then hopefully onward into spring and summer.

Beautiful morning here yesterday, was hopeful of getting out for a walk in the afternoon, but then the rain and sleet arrived. Ho hum. As for the SSW, will it? Won't it? Could it? Mibbes aye, mibbes naw. We wait with baited breath. Currently 6.3c, dreich and miserable with it. Happy Thursday folks! 😁
