afternoon all, hope you all had a pleasant new year!

Just hopped on to say, I have a wintry mix at the moment, hail, maybe a flake of wet snow.

I didn't see any snow last night, but I did hear a lot of rain. According to my gauge we had 40.4mm overnight! Now THAT would have been proper snow. However, one person has already found the limits of his Range Rover the hard way!Could contain: Road, Street, Urban, City, Motorcycle, Vehicle, Transportation, Water, Car, Rain

I walked along there earlier, people not heeding the road closure sign!

Is it in verga, or a high up cloud. Wish I had seen similar, wasn't looking. Cold water crystals can look wonderful during sun set.

Big clump of PPN just south of Maidstone, heading SE towards Tenterden, could be a bit of the white stuff in that lot.

Just watched the latest video from Aidan at the Met office.

Bone dry for us with some frost and daytime temps between 4-6c rest of week before turning mild and dry later Sunday.

Saving grace we get a break from the soaking rains for the next 7 days at least

Might be a Hail stone in there or a medium size wet snow flake 😂
