Nice to have a dry day today, mostly sunny with just a bit more cloud at times this afternoon. It felt far more like early November too. Reached 13.7°C

Morning All, celebration day today, for the man that failed to blow up Parliament, something Liz Truss managed to achieve in her short reign. Just go to show women of this world can achieve what us blokes cant😱 (Tongue in cheek, no malice suggested🙊)

Meanwhile "welcomed" rainfall, helping us recover some of the lost ground from mid year, now at 78.5% of last years rainfall at the same date, so reeling it back in slowly.

Beach is looking.....Novemberish..

Nasty wet day today but winter is coming! 🙂

So quick question.... anyone recommend weather station for around 300 quid?

Would love a vantage pro 2 but need to wait a couple of years.

Data capture and publish  or pure "View only"?

I've had great service and assistance from these guys https://weatherspares.co.uk/

By 'eck it's been a dreich day, but then again we are in late Autumn so about right really. It's one of those days when night begins early, and you shut the doors, turn on the heating (NO NOT YET), and settle down to a good movie. As I one of my grand children with me, they get to chose the movie!

Still raining here, but the radar plot shows nothing.

Yes I noticed that earlier, no rain showing anywhere near here on there at the time but something was definitely falling from the sky.

Wet for most of the day although it did turn a bit dryer this evening. Reached 14.4°C which was a couple of hours ago and it hasn't really moved since.

Here’s where it went wrong. 16.30 rain over Devon, 16.35 all disappeared.

Looks like it's going to be another day of heavy showers. Both Netweather and the Met Office forecasting electrical activity for some of us.

Hopefully the pluviometer matter is now resolved, I just placed an order for some heavy rain to test, hope that will be along shortly!

Sundays brave team

Just had a very squally shower here. A gust of 37mph and a rain rate of 81.2 mm/hr.
7mm total today, and already at 62.4mm for the month.
