Big fat flakes here, considering on the weather on bbc one last night said we may get a few flakes!!

Ironically just saw this while leaving frome to head to longleat festival of light.  Longleat shut and hardly any snow falling up here where normally theres always more up there.

Yes, very reminiscent, apart from being a couple of inches rather than 9 or 10 back in 2019. Just pepped up again in Warminster.

I'm currently looking for a reasonably priced weather station as mine has given up altogether it has had bits replaced so many times now it's ended up being like Triggers broom. 😃 so if anyone can recommend a reasonably priced one I would be very grateful.

Temp hit 1.6°C. Still a lot of snow/slush and water about,. and the temp is now falling. Surely the MO will put out a warning for ice?

I thought the same, should be a warning for Ice. Currently 1 degree and a lot of surface water still. With temps dropping, I’d expect ice  to form.

Snow falling here again from a small area of snow that has been heading slowly west. Might get a top up here out of this.

Snap ( apart from the snowman , several dotted about the hill and a massive one on top  ) just come back from Cley Hill found a really good sledge run almost from the top of it to about halfway down .

Will now drive back to check out whatcombe hill as Fromey reported heavy snow as I was leaving earlier.

My back garden is a sloppy mess now which will most likely freeze over night.

Peaked at 0.3°C at: 13:52 here, and now down to -0.2°C, with a lot of cloud around. The road ice is glistening whilst the car is still covered in water pools, if the cloud clears, could be interesting.

Temp isn't doing a lot here, just going up and down between 0.7 and 0.8°C. A max of 1.6°C.
