5 also. Feeling good this morning. Good excuse to laze about in the garden and avoid all the jobs however, so I’ll keep up the cough for a bit 😂

Hahahha. Yea I'm feeling alright. Got in the garden a bit yesterday afternoon. the worst is over. Think i'll go out again today. We are free to go out tomorrow as NHS website says to stay in for 5 days.

Managed to eek a tad bit more out of the solar energy with 24.8°C at: 16:13. A crackin' day by all accounts.

Have these people no homes, OR are they all hotel residents?

Could contain: Nature, Outdoors, Land, Sea, Water, Storm, Shoreline, Coast, Peninsula

Whilst on Golden sands, the numbers are down today

Largely sunny again this afternoon after some cloud floating around earlier. Don’t think 20°C will be breached but still got an hour or so for that to be achieved. Noticeably cooler in that breeze!

Musical chairs here trying to find the perfect spot.

Patio is roasting, out of the wind. Much cooler under the brolly and on the lawn in a keen breeze.

The aliens have arrived in Dorset this evening! On a more serious note, I know there is a more technical term for this type of cloud formation and why they form?

Lenticular.

It was darn cold when I went out at 07.30 with cloud and the strong wind! Slowly warming now it’s mostly sunny.

Looking at the ECM out into next week, the suggestion is that the the NE/E breeze continues through until the weekend of the 9th

I agree, it still feels cold unless you can be in a very sheltered sunny spot. Apart from that it's lovely to have blue skies and sunshine.

Could do with the odd shower though. Already having to do some watering of the garden plants.

I wonder if it's only in Britain that we are never happy with the weather. It's either too hot, too cold, too rainy, too grey, too windy etc.

It's been a fairly dry month down here:

 -----------------------------------
 Daily rain totals
 -----------------------------------
  04.4 mm  on day 4
  02.4 mm  on day 5
  16.4 mm  on day 6
  00.2 mm  on day 7
  17.0 mm  on day 8
  00.6 mm  on day 9
  05.0 mm  on day 10
  03.8 mm  on day 15
  03.8 mm  on day 19
  00.2 mm  on day 20

So last rain was 10days ago

Sunny until it got dark when it clouded over, basically a reversal of what we were getting frequently not long ago when it cleared once it got dark. Reached 20.9°C
