Aww what happened to the marriage plans? Took mine 7 years. He was forced into it as we started visiting wedding fairs and I was making a venue list and asking for his input before he even asked me. Tbh when he got round to it it meant nothing as he did it on a day that I had had yet another go at him for leading me on. Wanting to be with me but not wanting to marry me! I wish he had just said let's end it instead of leaving me on. Anyway ... Another rant over ...

Mine doesn't  believe  in it all , he says if you dont get married you can't get divorced.  Or the main cause for divorce  is marriage.  

To be honest I'm 52 this year and passed pulling off a pretty wedding dress.

LOL! I guess it doesnt' have to be hardcore. Just a quick trip to the registry. What is it about it that puts him off?

Daniel later told me it was because it was a hassle - arranging it etc ... Have to admit I hated being hte centre of attention!
