I notice that the leaves were falling off trees in and around my area today  , just looked odd knowing it was very warm , sunny but in Autumn . 

The humidity is rising to 70% , temp 21.1C .

It was still 28C when I arrived home from work at 1620.

Another warm day tomorrow by all accounts . The days do fly by when the sun shines.

Morning All, a warm night wit the low of 16.2°C at: 06:34, currently 22.3°C  with RH81 %, Humidex 28.9°C and light air movement (1mph) from the NE under partly cloudy skies.

From Above the reason for the slow start today

On Golden sands a migrant calm sea this morning still hazy, not sure where the sea stops and the cloud starts

Could be because we are into September, however trees will also occasionally shed their leaves due to heat and/or lack of moisture.

Looking around I think it's on it's own with the area that tracks over Dorset as all agree that over Cornwall/Devon will see something, time will tell.

Meanwhile down over the Brest Peninsula showers are breaking out and suggested tracking looks like NNW (Cornwall poss Devon)

Wow what a week! Spent Mon/Tues hedgecutting all day, Weds cutting down a meadow until it was nearly dark, and the rest of the week strimming and lawn mowing.  I have to say the heat this week has been unbearable compared to all 3 heatwaves last year. Had to stop at lunchtime today, the humidity today is a killer, actually felt unsafe to carry on…

If I don’t get at least an hour of decent thunder/lightning between now and Tuesday I’ll be mortified… it’s the most primed it’s felt for years. Going to drink yet another couple of pints of water - I am definitely having a bloody beer this evening.. Stay cool everyone!

Sat out enjoying the warmth (24.2c at 21.00!) and added bonus of a laser show from Longleat which is reflecting off the mid level cloud.

Soon to find out if the showers on the radar are reaching the ground. Presumably more Saharan dust deposits are likely.

Cloudier at times today but still sunny a lot of the time. Not quite as hot but with the humidity it didn't really feel much different to the last few days. Reached 26.3°C

Very weird feeling to the weather todah , its foggy , damp , but very clammy . 

Had an horrendous night , 2 hours sleep due to heat / humidity .

Sun trying to poke through now but I'm not going to go out in it . 

If I can a craft day today I think then try and relax more tomorrow.

Morning All, so, are we on for Dirty Gertie today or not, after so many promises, time will tell?

The overnight low of 15.4°C at: 06:36, currently 23.6°C and RH79 %, Humidex 30.9°C with light air movement of 2mph from the ESE. Early morning run to the big "T" see's me stacked in readiness with bottled water, ice-creams oh and of course some Scrumpy Jack.

Looking to our south this morning, lots of energy exploding over North Spain and into southern Biscay early this morning

Lots of different ideas there, with Devon and Cornwall looking potentially the place to be for some rainfall.
