Your chance of rain was always higher than 0% though, other parts of Dorset seem to have had a few showers! Light rain again now, at "Meteo 0%" Fareham lol.

Well that's the inverse of you, we were more likely for rain and it didn't happen, you weren't and it did!

Still cruising through in your area

The briefest shower before lunch, otherwise an ideal gardening day. Found some green manure seeds, so sowed that in the raised veg beds. Turned over the compost bays, divided some grasses and got the grass cut.

Temp is dropping off now as the Sun sets. Going in to light the new burner for the first time in a bit, which is quite exciting. And to watch the rugby, of course. 🏉

Indoor temperature 17.1°C, so I'm sure we can hold off on the heating for a while longer yet, November is but 17days away...

You can probably lose the fan now.

Hygge is my middle name. They were Christmas lights, but they're not allowed to come down now. 😒

Frost overnight. 1C in the greenhouse at the moment.

Looks like it's going to be a cracking day today.

Mind you, got severely soaked yesterday in S Wales despite the Met Office forecasting a dry day. So I'll pack my coat nonetheless!

Noooo well maybe. I almost put it on last night. I need to get HRT. I am perimenopausal. I don't have hot flushes by day but do at night. So I die of heat at night! Window was wide open til 4am awhen I got up for a pee. Then it was 16c in here. So clsoed it. Then I got hot again 2/3 hours later so got under a sheet but almost got up to put the fan on!

Migrated from the summer single sheet to the thinnest duvet from tonight, as the missus feels the cold. Told her that natural sunlight is useful, its 16c in the bedroom open the curtains and we are up to 18C already! Doh! So now rather than the curtains being closed to keep the heat out, we have swapped for the next 6months to open then to use the solar warmth.
