Not had one for a while. Hoping to walk this evening too.

In other news, just had the planning application approved for change of use for the new bit of field from agri to garden use, so no excuses now. 🌷🌹🌻

Yippeee!

Soggy day today. It's a long time since I've driven through so much standing water on local roads.

Absolutely pouring down here in Thornbury with an even heavier pulse about to come through judging by the radar.

It seems the rain has come a bit further south that was being forecast last night.

What times the big heavy rain coming we're under the warning for?

Right now it looks to have gone over and curled around having missed most of the area

For those suffering under the rain, the sun is shining here and we have washing on the line (and its drying!). OH, and it's warm 15.7°C at: 12:12.

PS: Whilst you get snow we do get the rain!🥱

I think it was more North and West than first thought.

That's a bit OFF isn't it, as a former landlord, notice on period of conclusion of the rental agreement should include a period to enable the tenant to remove anything (include the plants) that hey have added to the property that were over and above the initial tenants agreement. That period of vacation should be clearly defined and should the tenant NOT consider the removal of those items, then the landlord COULD ask for their removal or at their discretion to dispose or leave in situ.

Additional 2.2mm to the monthly total in the recent shower, far short of the 254mm recorded in Scotland, but then again we probably don't need major flooding and upheaval, thoughts to our colleagues in Scotland, Oh and in Norfolk, Suffolk, Powys, Derbyshire..........

It’s times like this I detest weather. Today has been showing as a dry day on everything all week. It was showing as a dry day when I got up an hour ago.

So 3 days of washing out on the line and airers. All set up to dry by tea time. We’re just about to head out to my son’s football and, as if by magic, a batch of showers has formed moving in from the SW!

Had a similar issue, wife puts out the washing then asks me if it's going to rain to which I replied "showers". Next thing you know up pops what was a small passing shower that grew in size and hung around for a good 25mins in total. Sheets were wringing wet, so guess who had the privilege to bring them in, spin them and stick them back out again?
