Down to -0.9c last night. Decided to drive to work via a detour to find a bit of snow. The snowline being around 325 metres. Still blowing a hoolie up top so didn't hang around for long

Really could do with some of that blue sky here. This week, except Monday, seems to have only been clear in the evening and overnight! 
 

I haven’t seen the sun properly since Monday afternoon! A mixture on various days of low cloud, mist, fog, thick medium level cloud, frontal cloud. You name it! 
 

And it’s gloomy now too.

Overcast and -2c this morning with a biting wind.

That would be a lovely walk along the beach this morning, proper sniffy nose stuff.

High of 4.2c yesterday.
Low of -0.4c at 8am this morning.

Sun is out now, just got over 1 degree in last hour, now 1.3c.

Rain total for November was 149mm, quite a heavy rain month as far as November goes, not a record though.
985mm so far for the year.

struggled to 1.1c so far, but can’t see it getting much above that for the remainder of the day. Expecting it to be far colder tonight with skies clearing earlier than yesterday

Lovely at home, but hit cloud at Stockbridge and it's been cloudy all day in Winchester. Horrible.

Tomorrow looking better, hopefully.

With all of the figures above I am wondering if they are avarage, above average or what ever.

 

Interesting to see the difference in total's between Karlos and Dorset despite living not that far apart.

181.4mm for November. There were a couple of under-readings too, due to spider webs 

Second wettest Autumn in 15 years, at least.

1149.4mm for the year.

Plenty more to come this month.

Back to today.. temp reached 3.2°C during the sunshine. Clouded over now.

Cloudy now and it’s dropped to 3c

Feels very cold out today, with that NNE 12 mph bitter wind.

Are you really seeing a NNW wind direction as it's NE here, and the NetWeather wind direction confirms that for both of us?

Interesting developments for Monday for down here.

Met office going for snow on the higher moor and top temperature for my location at 4c.

Where as BBC/meteogroup going for 7c and rain.

Obviously how the incoming low pressure interacts with the cold block is still subject to change

Today the met office got it right temperature wise, their suggestion of 4c max was spot on

Who needs snow when you've got frost like this. Drive to and from work today was a winter wonderland on top of the Mendips, stunning sunset too. Couldn't help but stop and capture it but got bleeding frozen in the process, -2c and breezy up there, going to be a cold one tonight.

Same here regarding the November lowest max (and here, lowest min as well) now I've had time to check back to the years before I got my VP2. But in Nov 2010, 4 days were colder and 2 more almost as cold as yesterday, and with December 2010 getting even colder and all the snow, that was a real big freeze!

Met Office give it cloudy here overnight. Min temps were showing -5°C, but that's changed to -2°C

Turning out to be an extremely short-lived cold spell.
