Couldn't find a 99 for love nor money though. What's the world coming to?

They've been renamed, you need to ask for a two-ninety-nine

4 seasons in one day yesterday.  Started off cloudy and breezy.  Sun came out and temps peaked at 9.5c. Light showers and lots of lovely convection late afternoon. Pretty intense but short lived downpour of wintry stuff in the evening and an overnight low of -5!

Grey day today and cold. Looks like there is some rain moving in, but doesn't appear especially heavy on the radar at the moment.

Morning All, a fine clear sunny yet cool 0C start to the day. Clear skies, but -14C windchill might just take the edge off things at altitude.

Could contain: Nature, Outdoors, Scenery, City, Landscape, Winter, Snow, Sky, Piste, Sport

I reckon that's the Harz Mountains in Germany - went there on a school trip when I was a wee teen. Milky grey skies here in SW London but mild, just to keep it weather related.... even if it's not quite in this forum!

Not too bad here. Bright and breezy. I was expecting a bit of a grotty day, so I've been knocking out a fireplace.

Watch it chuck it down tomorrow when I'm on outside jobs.

The frontal rain is at least 100 miles further West than anticipated by pretty much every forecast/model.

If it doesn’t get a wriggle on later & overnight then tomorrow morning could be vile instead of potentially fine (and @jtay will get his soaking.

That's my worry. I was contemplating a Southbourne walk early tomorrow too, but I think I'll bin that off.

Might be a greenhouse day again.

Or a trip to the tip to get rid of all this rubble.

Appallingly inaccurate forecast from the BBC this morning, rain arrived around 12.30pm and has stuck over us all afternoon, utterly miserable.

Went to Wales and got absolutely soaked!

No surprise there🤣. Wales has 4 or 5 towns and cities, which statistically are wettest in the UK. I think Cardiff was wettest the other year, Swansea the year before.
