Early heavy rain has moved through and it's absolutely beautiful now.

Lovely and warm in the Sun. Spring has def arrived.

It was biblical yesterday, particularly around Swansea in the late afternoon.

Let's see what today holds for closer to home. T storms in the forecast (Nick Finnis forecast), Bristol is just about in the catchment area. Nothing obvious on the radar ATM, although I think today's storms are reliant on surface heating and it's currently cloudy where I am.

Sun just came out for 10 seconds ...

It's very sunny to the north of you in Basingstoke and feels very springlike.  Best day of the year so far.

Only reached 12.1°C which still felt quite pleasant but the breeze is probably why it didn't get as high here.

RIGHT, back from the former East Germany, and a good rail journey. Managed to get a real heavy outburst just outside of Brussels, generating some nice rainbows and small rainbows in rain shafts. Arrive in the UK, AND it's dry, no rain on our journey within the UK, So back to the Poole weather...

Nice and toasty @ 13.2°C at: 14:43, with blue skies, nice welcome home..

I trust you folks have been behaving yourselves, in my absence!

Absolutely glorious throughout daylight, however just when I thought a dry day was in the offing! It’s raining now! And rain likely every day this week!

Dry all day with lengthy sunny spells but again here the breeze again made it feel quite a bit cooler than the temperature suggested. Reached 12.3°C

Morning All, overcast with light rain and drizzle, the overnight low of 7.3°C at: 01:29, currently 9.7°C , RH97% with a 12mph breeze in from the SW.

Looking at this..

Could contain: Chart, Plot, Map, White Board, Outdoors

I'd say we are  looking at a damp day.

Afternoon all,

I hope you had a lovely weekend, now back in the working week and wondering what comes next it doesn't look dry for the next week. I was in Worcester on Saturday and the river Severn looked quite high if we get much rain flooding is going to become a problem.

Hopefully not going to effect the people living on the Somerset levels and other low lying areas too much.

Really groty day again - already the low lying areas are starting to waterlog/flood...
